Accessing Apple Maps on Lock Screen
According to a tweet from leaker “@analyst941,” Apple Maps information will be accessible on the lock screen by simply swiping a finger. Moreover, users may be able to do the following:
- View notifications alongside Apple Maps data
- Open the full app with a single tap or long press from the lock screen
Minimizing and Maximizing Live Activities
The leaker also revealed the possibility of minimizing a Live Activity app to the size of a music-playing card and maximizing it again, offering users more control over their lock screen experience.
Rumors suggest that iOS 17 will introduce additional updates, including:
