Extract the Downloaded File
Once the mod file is downloaded, you need to extract its contents. This involves opening the .rar or .zip file and moving the files it contains into a separate folder.
Move the Unzipped Files to the Game’s Mod Folder
The next step is to move these extracted files into the mod folder of your Sims 4 game. The usual location of this folder is “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.” If there isn’t a folder there already, you should create one.

After moving the mod files, open your Sims 4 game.
Enable Custom Content and Mods
Within the game, navigate to the “Options” menu. From there, select “Game Options” and then click on the “Other” tab. Within this tab, there should be a checkbox labeled “enable custom content and mods.” Check this box to allow the game to use the mod you’ve added.
